This is great advice from the California First Dog. Yes, I do mean Governor Brown's corgi -Sutter.
While this may have something to do with the budget surplus this year, I think it really is about bones. It is always about bones. And isn't it great to have a back yard in which to bury them?

I want a sister too
So unfair. Bo gets a sib but not me. Sunny is the new addition to the first family. It looks like these two lucky dogs are posing with the Washington Monument in the background. They look pretty happy together (except they are looking off in different directions!). I do love being an only dog, but seeing this picture makes me think that I could find even more happiness with another. But wait.....would I have to share Superman????

More dogs of politicians - the series
Bringing together two of my interests - my fellow dogs and politicians, today I'm showing a painting done by our ex-President George W. Bush. This is a portrait of Barney, who famously lived in the White House and is now no longer with us.
I am not sure this changes my political views, but I think GW has captured something good here.

Dogs of Politicians
LATimes Blog
Well, it is an election year, and as an added feature to my blog, I am going to be spotlighting Dogs of Politicians. Here is someone who looks like a Corgi, with his pals, Governor Jerry Brown and Anne Gust Brown, getting a ride on his back.
I think the dog looks a bit stressed.

Should dogs vote
Let's leave Priscilla alone a bit, while she recuperates. Thanks everybody for all cards and letters. She is doing fine, but doesn't want any photos yet.
Instead we have this photo of some prayer flags from my friend Jane Noel's project that started last year with the inaguration of our new president. She distributed these flags all over the country and then the people decorated them. I was just a teeny pup then and the flags read CHANGE. They still read CHANGE, a year later.
